Rodents

Hi everyone, I would just like to say that it is a common misconception that all rodents are smelly. This sounds pretty random but lots of people don't like to keep small animals that have the classification of a rodent, as guinea pigs do, as pets.

I would just like to clear this up that Toffee does not smell bad - she actually smells like hay and carrots which is strangely a really nice smell. As long you clean guinea pigs out fairly regularly (Read More Here) then they do not smell. 

Even though guinea pigs are generally classified as rodents, I like to think of them as rabbits with a hat on to cover their ears. :)

I'm not sure why rodents actually get a bad name because 'rodent' is actually just 'gnawing' in Latin....
